Suneeta Mohanty is the founder of Karigaree Odisha Craftworks, a budding initiative inspired by her long-standing appreciation for India’s rich handloom traditions, especially the distinctive and vibrant weaves of Odisha.
Deeply drawn to the artistry and cultural heritage of handloom, Suneeta always nurtured the desire to do something meaningful in this space. With Karigaree Odisha, she is taking her first steps toward that dream, to promote sustainable, handcrafted products while creating opportunities for local artisans and weavers.
Rooted in a belief that every person has a purpose, this venture reflects her intent to contribute in a small but significant way to the preservation of traditional crafts, and to connect conscious consumers with authentic, eco-friendly products that tell a story.
